About

Koča na Loki pod Raduho sits at 1534m in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, on the approach to Raduha (2062m). The hut lies in the Loki valley, a major hiking hub. From Kamnik town (30km south), drive to the Loki parking area and walk 45 minutes uphill to reach the hut. From the south, approach via Stahovica village. The hut serves as a base for routes to Raduha, Turska Gora, and the ridge walks linking the central Kamnik peaks. Trails to and from the hut are well-marked and maintained by PZS.
The hut is open year-round and has capacity for 40 guests in dorm rooms and private spaces. The keeper serves hot meals, packed lunches, and drinks. Water comes from a spring. Toilets are basic. The hut has no electricity or heating beyond a stove. Winter visits are possible but depend on snow conditions and the keeper's availability—contact ahead. Cell reception is unreliable.
Book directly with the keeper by phone or through PZS. Summer weekends (June to September) and July school holidays fill quickly; reserve 2–3 weeks ahead for these periods. Outside summer, walk-ins are usually accepted. The hut is family-friendly and popular with local hikers. Bring cash—card payment is not always available.
