Shelter v Hudičevem Borštu

Zavetišče v Hudičevem Borštu sits at 1328m in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, deep in beech forest that gives the shelter its name—Hudičevo Boršče means Devil's Forest. The hut is reachable on foot from Logarska Dolina, a glacial valley 20km northeast of Mozirje. The walk in takes 3 to 4 hours depending on which approach you choose. It's also accessible from the Savinja River valley routes that link the region's network of PZS huts.
The shelter has 13 beds across several rooms and serves as a base for walking in the lower Savinja range. The keeper provides meals on request and maintains basic facilities—expect dormitory-style sleeping and mountain hut standards rather than comfort. The hut opens year-round but is quieter outside summer and autumn hiking season. Winter access depends on snow conditions and is not guaranteed.
