Feyersaga
2.7About
Feyersaga is a simple Alpine dairy farm offering basic hut accommodation. The SAC manages it seasonally. You get a dorm bed, meals prepared from local ingredients, and access to a small kitchen if you're self-catering. The facility runs year-round but check availability outside summer months—staffing is reduced in shoulder seasons. Capacity is around 20 people. Hot showers and a common room make it functional rather than luxurious. This is workhorse hiking accommodation, not a destination hut.
Book direct by phone or email at least two weeks ahead, especially for weekends. July and August fill quickly with Swiss families on multi-day valley hikes. Solo walkers and small groups can usually find beds with shorter notice. The hut is cash-friendly but increasingly accepts card payments—confirm when you call. Expect to pay around CHF 40–50 for a dorm bed and CHF 20–25 for evening meals.
