Alpe Piano delle Solere

The hut serves as a base for traversing the Silvretta high-altitude route and accessing the Fluela and Albula passes. The hut operates year-round as a simple mountain shelter run by local alpinists. It sleeps 20 across dormitory rooms with basic cooking facilities and a small common area. No meals are provided on-site; bring your own food or plan a resupply from Schruns. Water comes from a mountain spring. The hut suits self-sufficient groups planning multi-day high-altitude routes rather than hikers seeking restaurant service. Winter access requires backcountry skiing skills and avalanche competence.
