Cabin Gianni e Mario Remedio

Capanna Gianni e Mario Remedio sits at 1446m in the Brescia Alps, within striking range of the Adamello-Presanella massif. The hut is accessible from Bovegno valley via a hiking trail that takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours from the trailhead. Most parties approach from the south, using the established path from Rifugio Tavole or from Bovegno settlement itself. The location gives you solid access to rock climbing and mountaineering objectives in this less-visited section of the Central Alps.
The hut runs 20 beds across simple dormitory rooms. The CAI manages it through the Bovegno subsection, maintaining a working mountain base rather than a resort operation. Meals are available—contact ahead to confirm the current menu and availability, as staffing varies with the season. Water comes from mountain sources. The hut typically operates from late spring through autumn, though confirm dates before planning a winter approach.
