Madrisahütte sits at 1663m in the Prättigau valley, Graubünden, on the border between the Appenzell Alps and the Säntis massif. Reach it from Malans or from the village of Madris in around 2–2.5 hours on foot. The hut also serves as a base for ascents of Säntis (2502m, 4–5 hours from the hut) and other peaks in the region.
