Cabin D'Anthème

Cabane D'Anthème sits at 2,037m in the Valais region, accessible via hiking trails that connect the lower valleys. The hut serves as a base for day walks and multi-day tours through moderate alpine terrain. Most hikers approach from the south or west; expect 3–4 hours from the nearest village. The location offers straightforward access without technical climbing, making it suitable for hill walkers building mountain fitness.
The hut has 35 beds in shared dormitory rooms. Meals are prepared on-site—book dinners and breakfasts when you reserve. A self-catering kitchen is available if you prefer cooking your own food. Drinking water comes from the hut's own supply. The building opens year-round, though winter access depends on weather and snow conditions; confirm opening dates before planning a winter visit.
