About
The Geißeckhütte sits at 2,323m in the Hochkönig massif, about 90 minutes' walk southeast of Maria Alm. Start from the village and follow the marked trail via the Schartl Pass—the route gains 1,200m elevation and crosses alpine pasture before steeper rock and scree near the hut.
