Rifugio Allavena

Meals focus on simple Italian fare—expect pasta, soup, and local cheeses. Water is reliable. The hut operates year-round but is quietest in winter; most visitors come May through October. Summer weekends fill regularly. There's no electricity; lighting runs on gas or solar. The atmosphere is straightforward and working-hut rather than resort-style.
