About
The hut operates staffed during summer months and remains open but unstaffed through winter. Eight beds are available when a guardian is present; eight additional emergency places exist for winter stays. No meals are served here—bring all your food and fuel. There's no running water, so carry what you need or melt snow. The facility is basic but functional: expect a roof, walls, and shelter from the elements rather than comfort.
Book through rifugi.cai.it or email the managing CAI section directly. Summer weekends fill quickly—contact them at least two weeks ahead if you're planning July or August. Winter stays work on an honor system; leave a donation if you use the emergency spaces. This is a climber's hut: come prepared to be self-sufficient.
