Bonner Hütte sits at 2,340m on the Zillertal ridge between Austria and Italy. Reach it from Mayrhofen in 4 hours via the Zillertal or from the Italian side near Riva di Tures. Most parties break the walk into two days using intermediate huts, but fit hikers do it in one push.

The hut operates year-round and sleeps 60 across mixed dorms and double rooms. Half-board is standard: expect filling dinners and strong coffee at breakfast. The sitting room gets crowded in summer but offers a solid base for ridge walks and peak attempts on nearby 3,000m summits.
