Access Routes
From Pederü (San Vigilio di Marebbe)
Broad former military track (path 7) climbing about 500 m from the Pederü inn onto the Fanes plateau; also popular with mountain bikers, and a jeep shuttle runs for overnight guests.
From Capanna Alpina (San Cassiano, Alta Badia)
Path 11 climbs over Col de Locia into the Gran Fanes valley and continues past the Gran Fanes alp to Passo Limo and the hut, about 2.5–3 hours.
Alta Via 1 from Rifugio Biella / Rifugio Sennes
The classic Alta Via 1 stage descends from the Sennes plateau to Pederü and climbs back up to Fanes, about 4 hours from Rifugio Biella.
