Rifugio Passo Lusia
2.2About
The rifugio offers 40 beds across simple double and multi-bed rooms. The kitchen serves traditional Ladin and Italian food. Half-board is standard and good value. Basic facilities include hot showers and a small bar. The hut stays open from June through September, with extended weekends in May and October depending on snow. It's a solid base for ridge walks in the Fassa Alps or as a stage hut on the Giro dei Tre Cime loop.
Book directly by phone or email in July and August, when weekends fill completely. Weekday visits in June and September are quieter. The hut accepts cash and card payments. Arrive by mid-afternoon to settle in before dinner service at 7pm. The surrounding terrain offers half-day scrambles to nearby peaks and longer traverses toward Catinaccio; most hikers spend 2–3 nights here.
