Rifugio Fedaia

Rifugio Fedaia sits at 2,057m on the Passo Fedaia, a mountain pass between the Dolomites and the Fassa Valley. The hut is accessible by road via the narrow, switchbacked Fedaia Pass road (closed November to April). On foot, most hikers approach from the Lago di Fedaia car park at 1,999m—a 30-minute walk to the hut. The location makes it a base for day walks around the Marmolada massif and longer traverses across the high country.
The hut offers 25 beds across simple rooms. Half-board is standard (dinner and breakfast included), with hearty mountain cooking fueling early starts. The dining room and small bar stay warm with a wood stove. Washing facilities are basic but adequate. Water comes from the mountain spring. The season runs mid-June through September; July and August see steady traffic from trekkers on the Fassa Valley circuit and Dolomites Alta Via routes. Half-board rates run €55–70 per person depending on room type.
