Fließer Stieralphütte

Fließer Stieralphütte sits at 2,280m in the Prättigau valley region of Graubünden. Reach it from the village of Fließ by hiking 2.5 hours upvalley past meadows and through larch forest. The trail is straightforward and well-marked. Most parties approach from the Prättigau side, making this a logical stop on multi-day traverses linking the lower valleys with higher alpine passes.
The hut is SAC-affiliated and offers simple accommodation in dormitory bunks. The guardian provides hot meals and basic supplies. Water comes from the streams above. The hut operates summer months only, typically June through September, though exact dates depend on snow conditions and staffing. Expect around 30-40 beds across rooms. The building itself is a solid mountain structure, not luxurious but functional for walkers doing valley-to-valley routes.

The hut can occasionally accommodate walk-ins outside peak season if beds are free.
